Obviously, I'm on a bit of a fairytale kick these days...oh, wait, that's ALL the time. Anyways, with all this fairytale stuff in the media...Once Upon a Time (my not-so-guilty pleasure), Mirror Mirror (still need to see it) and the impending Snow White and the Huntsman (cannot WAIT) it's hard not to add my interpretations of my favorite stories. So basically, it'll be a lot of princesses and pretty dresses on my dash for a while. Besides, fairytales are my very favorite things to draw, and one of the few things I feel I can admit I draw pretty well. And who knows, maybe I'll give Cinderella a break and draw Prince Charming now and again..

What can I say...I don't like writing these deviant journals much. But the last one is getting to be ancient, so an update is in order. As you've undoubtedly noticed, I've been adding more doll dresses. I used to make dresses for my paper dolls because I wasn't happy with the ones they had. Who makes an Arwen paper doll and only gives her three dresses? But I'm sharing my designs at last, and I hope you enjoy them all. Also, I'm in the throes of writing and illustrating my very own fairy tale as a Christmas present to my sister. Shh! Don't tell! I hope to scan most if not all of the artwork sometime soon and share it with all of you. It's

So what started out as an absentminded doodle of Cinderella during Astronomy class has turned into an extensive project. Several more fairytale heroines have all been drawn out and I hope to post them soon. Also I've another Harry Potter doll finished and two more in the Women of Camelot series. And I've got a new sketchbook at last!! Which means when I'm home for spring break, lots more arts will appear here! xxx Katie
